Thursday, May 6thWe are super busy! In fact we have 3 jobs for Monday just to kick off the week! Oh and that's only the beginning. We averaged our days on the market from January 1, 2010-April 30, 2010 and we are at a 12 DAY AVERAGE!! We have lots to celebrate and no better way than to keep on Staging!

Iverson Construction has built a beautiful new office which showcases just some of the many wonderful techniques and qualities they offer to their clients. Their office is a masterpiece in itself and we are so honored that we got to be a part of this! What an asset to Sturgis. Great things are Happening!!
Sunday, February 8thGreat things are happening at Staging Impressions and we can hardly catch our breath! Staging Impressions was invited by David Kahler with Prudential Kahler Realtors to be a guest on KOTA Radio morning show to discuss services we offer, how we work, and how our services are helping to sell homes around Rapid City and the Black Hills! We received wonderful feedback from clients, Realtors, and potential clients! It was a lot of fun and to say the least I was very impressed with the information that David provided relating to the past and current Real Estate market and so thankful that we get to be a part of it. Another success story to report on a listing of Judy Rohde’s with South Dakota Real Estate Company on Bellingham Drive. The house was listed on October 2, 2008. Judy called us on behalf of her clients to explain our services and to provide a bid for the staging. We staged the home on Thursday, January 22 and on Friday, January 23 Judy contacted us that the home was SOLD!! We love these happy endings! One more thing to share, Staging Impressions was contacted by KOTA television to be on their business edition being aired this Tuesday. We were able to share how our services are proving to be successful in helping homes sell and that our current average of 19 days in the area is so exciting! The house that we just staged on Rosewood will be shown and we want to say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! to the home owners who was kind enough to share their experiences and feelings with our services. We are anxious to see it and look forward to hearing back on what everyone thinks. Until next time Have a Great Day!
Doing Fine in 2009!
Tuesday, January 6thWith a fine farewell to another year gone, we are hitting the ground running for 2009! Busy getting the warehouse inventoried, doing bids, consultations, and yes already 2 staging jobs, we are doing FINE in 2009! I’m excited to announce that David Kahler with Prudential Kahler Realtors has invited me to attend a segment of “Ask the Expert” on KOTA in mid January! As I receive more specifics I will be sure to post them. I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to visit our website and drop us a line. We enjoy hearing from you and love the opportunity to talk “shop” :o) We are really looking forward to a great year and hope to continue in educating and sharing why staging works and to keep our average going strong! The month of December...
Wednesday, December 10th“I refuse to participate in any recession!!”-Jan Whitlow, ASPM, IAHSP I believe Jan has said it best with her mantra! Fortunately for us, we have not seen any signs of the recession. Matter of fact, if now more than ever is when Home Sellers and Realtors are realizing the importance of Staging and just how much difference it makes when selling a house vacant or lived in!! When I started Staging Impressions over 3 years ago, I was pioneering the way in the Black Hills trying to educate others on what Staging is and why, if done by an Accredited Staging Professional, it can make a difference. There are others who offer “staging” but unless you have actually studied and continued your education for Staging, anyone can place “stuff” in a house and “take out” and “de-personalize” the way they think they know how. It truly is a mastered degree of knowing just how everything should be placed, what should come in, what should go out, colors, furniture placement, and so on…It has been proven over and over just how much a difference Staging makes when done by an Accredited Staging Professional. When I’m depending on my car to get me from point A to point B, I want a trained professional to diagnose the problem and do the repairs, not just someone who’s watched one of those “Mechanic Shows” on TV. and thinks they can put the right parts where they go! Same goes when preparing and selling you house! I am so thankful that House Sellers and Realtors have listened and understand the difference between a Professionally Staged House and a “staged” house. “You can reach your goal, your best dreams can come true, you can get where you want to go only if you know what your goal is.”

Thursday, October 30thThe Rapid City Journal posted an article about Staging and the importance of it. We were fortunate enough to be included along with another local stager! We also received notice that a home we currently staged was in the 2008 Fall Parade of Homes and won Best of Show!!! We would like to congratulate the builder and Tony Marshall with VIP Properties and thank them for believing in our work and allowing us to showcase it with them for the Parade of Homes!

Friday, October 3rdI can’t begin to tell you how excited we are at Staging Impressions! We have buzzing around like busy, busy bees! This next week we will have staged our 50th home already!! The word is out, and Staging is Happening!! The last 5 homes we have staged have sold within the 1st week! The Annual Fall Parade of Homes is the second weekend of October and we are proud that we have the opportunity to have homes staged for this great event! Nothing like making a home feel like a home and inviting people to want to just move right in! I will be recalculating our average for homes, which was at 23 days before! I can’t wait to see where it comes out NOW!! I’ll keep you posted…
